ArmInfo.Turkey's position, which links the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations with the development of relations between Yerevan and Baku, is not constructive. This was stated by RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a meeting of the commissions of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on October 31. He recalled that the parties agreed to negotiate without preconditions on the issue of normalizing bilateral relations. The minister pointed out the existence of agreements on the partial opening of borders for third- country citizens with diplomatic passports at the first stage, and there are also small joint projects related to the restoration of the destroyed historical bridge in Ani. Nevertheless, as the minister noted, there is a dynamic dialogue in the relations between the two countries. Mirzoyan expressed hope for progress in Armenian-Turkish relations in the near future.
