ArmInfo. The ruling Civil Contract party in Armenia has decided on a candidate for the new Minister of Justice.
As reported by the press service of the political party, the day before, during a meeting of the party's board, which was chaired by the chairman of the board, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, a decision was made to nominate the current Deputy Prosecutor General of Armenia Srbuhi Galyan for the post of head of the Ministry of Justice.
Galyan previously held the post of Deputy Minister of Justice, after which she was appointed Deputy Prosecutor General, overseeing issues related to the confiscation of illegally acquired property.
The post of Minister of Justice has been vacant for a month now following the resignation of Grigor Minasyan.
