EU ready to assist Armenia is restoring flood-damaged infrastructure 

ArmInfo. The European Union confirms its support for the Crossroads of the World project  initiated by the Armenian government. This was stated by the head of  the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos during a  meeting with the Minister of Territorial Administration and  Infrastructure (MTAI) of the Republic of Armenia Gnel Sanosyan.

As reported by the press service of MTAI, Gnel Sanosyan highly  appreciated the work of the Ambassador in all areas of cooperation  with the Ministry.

A number of issues of mutual interest were discussed during the  meeting. Issues related to energy, road construction, and improving  road safety were discussed. Issues related to the aviation sector  were also discussed. The Minister thanked the Ambassador for his  support, especially in the field of civil aviation.

The issues related to the Crossroads of the World project were also  discussed. The head of the EU Delegation confirmed the EU's support  for this project. The EU Ambassador said that the EU is ready to  support the RA government in restoring the infrastructure damaged as  a result of severe flooding in the Lori and Tavush regions.
