Armenia, Georgia discuss defense cooperation prospects 

ArmInfo.On October 23, RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan received Georgia's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Armenia Georgi  Sharvashidze on the occasion of the appointment of Georgia's new  military attache in Armenia.

As reported by the press service of the Defense Ministry, welcoming  the participants of the meeting, Suren Papikyan congratulated the  newly appointed military attache, Lieutenant Colonel Teimuraz  Maisuradze, wishing him effective work in developing and  strengthening cooperation between the defense ministries.  During the  meeting, the parties discussed the course and prospects of  cooperation between Armenia and Georgia in the defense sphere, and  exchanged views on regional security and international developments.
