ArmInfo. Yesterday's scandal in the National Assembly of Armenia, during which the NA MP from the ruling Civil Contract faction Hovik Agazaryan and the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Argishti Kyaramyan clashed, led the Armenian media to think about the beginning of the process of removing Kyaramyan from his post.
As reported by ArmLur.am, the MP from the ruling party faction Arpi Davoyan proposed discussing Argishti Kyaramyan's conduct in the presence of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at a meeting of the party's board, which will be held today, October 16. The deputies from the Civil Contract are outraged by the bold revelations and statements of Kyaramyan, in particular, by the fact that the latter actually accused Agazaryan of corrupt deals related to the supply of cars to the country with the participation of the MP's son. Arpi Davoyan, as the source notes, failed the discussions in the National Assembly, which caused discontent among the ruling faction members.
Thus, according to ArmLur.am, the faction representatives intend to start a process with demands for the resignation of Kyaramyan, who may repeat the fate of the former RA Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan, unless, of course, he himself hands in his resignation.
