ArmInfo. Russia does not interfere in the affairs of Armenia and Azerbaijan. This was stated on October 8 by the official representative of the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov.
He recalled that, according to the format of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the leaders of the countries always sit at the same table, but this does not mean Moscow's participation in the affairs of Baku and Yerevan.
"They continue their dialogue in one way or another within the CIS. But the rest - bilateral relations - are no longer ours, this is their sovereign prerogative," he specified, Izvestia reports.
At the same time, according to him, the Russian side is in dialogue with both countries.
"We discussed Russian-Armenian relations with Armenia, and Russian-Azerbaijani relations with Azerbaijan," Peskov added.
