What is the basis for surrendering the territories in Syunik,  Shurnukh and the Tavush region?: This question remains unanswered

On what basis is the property of RA citizens, confirmed by cadastral  documents, being surrendered in the Tavush region?  How can your  actions then be called - criminality or incompetence? And is it  possible that new territories will be surrendered in the future?"  Artsvik Minasyan, a member of the opposition Hayastan faction, asked  Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the government hour on October  2 in parliament.

 "Not a single millimeter of the sovereign territory of the Republic  of Armenia was given to anyone. On the contrary, not only was no  damage done to the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia,  but the cornerstone of its territorial integrity was also  reinforced," Pashinyan replied.  At the same time, the Prime Minister  recalled that about 200 square kilometers of the Republic of  Armenia's sovereign territory are currently under Azerbaijani  occupation. But Armenia does not intend to return these territories  through military actions, but rather through diplomatic means, he  added.

Regarding the cadastral documents confirming the ownership rights of  the residents of Kirants in the Tavush region, whose real estate fell  under the control of Baku due to the so-called delimitation,  according to Pashinyan, the authorities tracked these documents, but  did not find enough evidence to issue these certificates. It is  possible that some officials, whether intentionally or not, allowed  for abuses. Law enforcement officers will investigate further, the  head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Armenia  concluded.
