German MFA: Turkey can contribute to a historic peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan

ArmInfo. Turkey can contribute to a historic peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as noted in the statement of the German Foreign Ministry.  The MFA of Germany reported that negotiations between the heads of the German and Turkish Foreign Ministries, Annalena Baerbock and Hakan Fidan, took place on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.  "Turkey is an important mediator for peace in our neighborhood. Turkey can contribute to a historic peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Concrete steps towards this were discussed at the meeting between Baerbock and Fidan," the German Foreign Ministry said in a post on its Twitter page (X).
