ArmInfo. Today, on September 26th, an agreement was signed to grant the Armenian city of Masis and the French city Aix-en-Provence the status of sister cities.
Based on the establishment of official diplomatic relations between France and Armenia on February 24, 1992, as well as the warm and friendly ties between the two communities, the parties wish to strengthen these ties through the establishment of strong relationships and cooperation.
They have agreed to develop the exchange of experience and implement joint projects for the benefit of local development. Particular attention will be given to cooperation between the youth of both communities, as well as in the areas of education, culture, economy, innovative technologies and sports. The signatories of the agreement will also work to promote the development of partnership and friendly relations between the residents of the two communities.
