5th Air Fest to take place in Armenia 

ArmInfo.The fifth Air Fest (air festival - ed.) dedicated to the development of small aviation  in Armenia will be held at Yeghvard airport on September 28. According to the press service of the Festival, starting from 12:00 in the morning, the sky above Yeghvard will be filled with various  aircraft: from airplanes and helicopters to paragliders, hot air balloons and drones. Spectators will be able to enjoy exciting air shows, as well as take part in entertainment programs and raffles.

"The goal of the festival is to develop public interest in aviation,  bring it closer to this area and open up new opportunities for growth  in this field," the press service reported.

Festival participants will have the opportunity to fly a helicopter,  airplane and paraglider. Musician Apo Sahakyan and the Katil band  will perform in the concert program.

Leading industry experts will take part in the Air Fest, who will  share their experience and present current trends in aviation. There  will also be a panel discussion on the topic "The Future of General  Aviation in Armenia: Opportunities and Technologies, Impact on  Economy and Tourism". The festival is organized with the support of  the Tourism Committee of Armenia.
