ArmInfo. Today, just like 33 years ago, the challenges facing our state remain significant. However, the past decades have shown that any obstacle can be overcome with unity, solidarity and determination. This is stated in the message of RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan on the occasion of the Republic's Independence Day.
As the President noted, over the past three decades, the Republic of Armenia has overcome difficult trials, sometimes with incredible efforts - the newly independent state was forced to face challenges of war, economic crisis and radical changes in the public administration system almost simultaneously. , he noted. As Khachaturyan pointed out that independence is not a just pleasant idea or an end in itself, but an ongoing movement, a fight to shape one's own fate and will, to independently determine the structure and nature of one's homeland and state, the ultimate goal of which is to became a free, responsible, constantly developing and noble person and citizen.
Freedom is a state of mind that encompasses the well-being of both the citizen and the state. It requires daily tireless work, care, selflessness, the joy of victory and the pain of loss. It also demands the highest level of awareness of responsibility. I also hope that for the sake of our present and future, for a safe, dignified and prosperous future for our children and grandchildren, for the Republic of Armenia, we are firm in our decision to have our own place among the nations of the world. I am confident that the Armenia of our dreams will be built through the collective efforts of our citizens>, Khachaturyan's message says.
