US Secretary of State, President of Azerbaijan discuss  Armenian-Azerbaijani normalization process

ArmInfo.US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken had a phone conversation with the Azerbaijani  President Ilham Aliyev.  As reported by Azerbaijani media with reference to the official website of the President of Azerbaijan, U.S.  Secretary of State Antony Blinken emphasized the importance of achieving lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. He also assured that the United States will spare no efforts to achieve this  goal. 

He also regarded the achievements in the delimitation of borders  between Armenia and Azerbaijan, including the signing of the  Regulation on the joint activities of the commissions on state border  delimitation on August 30, 2024, as a positive step. An exchange of  views on bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the United States  also took place.  There was no information about the call on the US  State Department website at the time of publication of the material.   We will add that at the end of last week, Blinken had a telephone  conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
