ArmInfo.On September 12, the Government of Armenia approved the proposal to sign the Protocol of the CIS member-states.
The agreement creates appropriate conditions for cooperation in the interstate search for persons hiding from competent authorities, evading serving a criminal sentence and executing court decisions on claims, persons missing or who have lost contact with relatives, for cooperation in matters of establishing the identity of a person who is unable to provide identification data about himself, as well as in cases of discovery of unidentified corpses.
In accordance with the Agreement, cooperation is carried out through the execution by the competent authorities of the parties of requests for search, exchange of operational, investigative, operational reference, forensic and other information about wanted persons, conducting coordinated operational and investigative activities and other mutually acceptable actions.
