Artsakh surrendered due to Pashinyan-Aliyev-Erdogan conspiracy

ArmInfo. It is difficult for us to celebrate the Artsakh Republic Day today, when Artsakh has lost its Armenian population, and the military-political leadership of Artsakh is in Baku prisons. This was noted on September 2, in his speech at the event "Return", by the deputy from the parliamentary faction "Armenia", the representative of the Supreme Body of the ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" Ishkhan Saghatelyan. 

However, according to Saghatelyan, this day should be cherished,  because for the Armenian people the page of the Republic of Artsakh  and Artsakh is not closed. "First of all, I appeal to the people of  Artsakh.  Dear Armenians of Artsakh, today hostile propaganda has  affected you, unfortunately, in the Homeland.  They are trying to  present the exodus of the Armenians of Artsakh as a result of the  fact that you did not fight and laid down your arms. I want to say  very clearly: you were not defeated, you were betrayed.  Artsakh did  not fall, Artsakh was surrendered. Artsakh was surrendered by  recognizing it as part of Azerbaijan, it was left alone. Artsakh was  surrendered with the cooperation and criminal conspiracy of Nikol  Pashinyan, Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan," Saghatelyan  emphasized.

According to him, the people of Artsakh have gone through three wars  and emerged from them with dignity, showing unimaginable examples of  courage.

"You are the people who have marked the borders of our Motherland  with your blood. You are the people in whose every family there are  victims and soldiers," the Dashnaktsakan added.

At the same time, Saghatelyan called on everyone to rethink their own  approaches, to set benchmarks for themselves both at the personal and  national levels, because it is not the number and scale of disasters,  but the ability to rise after them that determines the fate of  nations.

"Today, two value systems are colliding in the Armenian world: the  Armenian-centric and the foreign- centric. Today, we are constantly  told that they want to bring peace, but they have brought a new war,  each time closer to our homes. And any force that opposes  capitulation is declared an aggressor. Today, our state is ruled by  cowards and traders. Even such measures pose a danger of war. And  every day, a new dose of fear is injected into the public, so that  opponents of capitulation are declared adventurers, and capitulation  is presented as the only and inevitable way out," the opposition MP  added.

However, according to him, in the current reality, the only way out  of the current situation is a persistent struggle for the Motherland.

"We want Armenia to get out of this kneeling situation, they want  everyone to kneel like them, so that it turns out that not only they  are kneeling, but all Armenians.

We insist that no external force can decide what kind of constitution  we should have, what textbooks our children should study the history  of Armenia from, what should be depicted on our coat of arms. They  tell us that if we do not change, they will attack us.

We say that it is necessary to ensure peace, but you cannot expect  peace from someone whose goal is to destroy you. Peace must be won,  peace must be imposed, as it has been for two decades. They continue  to beg for peace, bringing a new war and new losses," the MP added.

According to him, if the Armenian people want to protect Armenia and  Armenian interests, the Artsakh agenda has no alternative.  Saghatelyan is confident that Artsakh is the key to the restoration  of everything Armenian, to once again becoming a factor in the  defense of the Motherland.

"We all know what the dictator of Azerbaijan and the rulers of  Armenia are offering our people. Therefore, along with the rejection  of this path of destruction, it is necessary to form a new national  alternative proposal. This alternative must be based on a realistic  assessment of the geopolitical situation, calculation of our own  capabilities, but at the same time it must correspond to the goals of  our people. To do this, it is necessary to return to the origins of  our struggle," the Dashnaktsakan added. 

He once again emphasized the interconnectedness of Artsakh and  Armenia and expressed conviction that without Artsakh, Armenia's  security system is very vulnerable. "We see this in Tavush,  Gegharkunik, Jermuk, Syunik. Therefore, there is no separate issue of  Artsakh and a separate issue of Armenia, they are interconnected,  this is a single issue. And the first thing that we, as a nation and  a state, as an alternative proposal, must tell the world is that the  Artsakh conflict is not resolved, Azerbaijan cannot resolve issues in  the region by force and the threat of force, we will never put up  with this," Saghatelyan said, adding that aggression combined with  war crimes cannot be perceived by the international community as an  acceptable way to resolve the conflict.

At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that today only two  governments in the world, Aliyev and Pashinyan, continue to talk  about the abolition of the Republic of Artsakh and the closure of the  Artsakh issue. 

"I would like to draw attention to the fact that the Artsakh issue is  not included in the Armenian- Azerbaijani negotiations. As long as  this issue is not on the agenda of the negotiations, as long as the  military-political leadership of Artsakh is in Baku, and the  Azerbaijani troops are on the territory of Armenia's sovereignty,  calling the Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations peace talks is a lie  and a falsity," he said.
