International organizations never identified any radical or illegal  provisions in Armenia`s Constitution - ex- MP

ArmInfo.The Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, as well as its foundation, the Declaration of  Independence, have been repeatedly examined by the most authoritative international structures, and none of them have found any illegal or radical provisions. 

This was stated by member of the RPA Executive Body and former MP  Gagik Minasyan at an event dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the  adoption of the Declaration. He recalled that the preamble of the  Constitution of Armenia states that it is based on the fundamental  principles of Armenian statehood and the national goals enshrined in  the Declaration of Independence of Armenia (based on the joint  Resolution of the Supreme Council of the Armenian SSR and the  National Council of Nagorno-Karabakh of December 1, 1989 )

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev insists on changing the  Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, without which . In this regard, when at the beginning of this year,  Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at the Ministry of Justice of  the Republic of Armenia that Armenia needs a new Constitution that  , the Prime Minister's counterparts stated  that the initiative came from Baku, mainly with the aim of excluding  from the Constitution references to the Declaration of Independence,  which contains a mention of the resolution on the reunification of  the Armenian SSR and Nagorno-Karabakh.
