


ArmInfo. The Anti-Corruption Court of Appeal, after reviewing the complaint from the prosecutor's office, has decided to suspend the powers of Goris community head Arush Arushanyan and deprive him of the right to hold public office for five years.
This was reported to the ArmInfo correspondent by Norayr Shoghikyan, the press secretary of the Ministry of Justice of Armenia. According to him, Arushanyan was invited to the Probation Service of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia. He was registered and presented with a court decision, stating that he was fined 700 thousand Armenian drams, must undergo a probationary period of one year and six months, and cannot hold public office for 5 years. The criminal case in which Arushanyan was found guilty involves abuse of office, arbitrary action, and intentional harm to the health of another person, as reported earlier by the department.
