ArmInfo. On August 23, the 124th MMA tournament, organized by one of the world's largest organizations, FightNights Global, will be held at the K. Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex in Yerevan.
As reported by the press service of the RA Karate Union, within the framework of the tournament, the world and European karate champion, the winner of the WKN version, Kamo Hunanyan, will fight with the Uzbek athlete Bakjan Alibekov.
In an interview with the Union's website, Unanyan noted that he is ready for the fight, despite the problem associated with an injury to his left hand. "It's not a problem, I don't focus on it, and I'm going for the victory. In any case, I'm in good shape now," the Armenian athlete said.
Speaking about his opponent, Hunanyan noted that Bakjan Alibekov is an athlete who lives and trains in Almaty. He trains at a local professional club where serious athletes train. "An experienced athlete, he has 7 wins and 6 losses. In any case, I will do everything to finish this fight with a victory ahead of schedule," the athlete emphasized.
