ArmInfo. As part of the youth wing project "Care for Memory", by the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Armenia, a team of volunteers from the Association of Students of Russian Universities in Armenia, along with 40 conscripts from the A. Mikoyan Border Guard Unit of the Border Department of the FSB of Russia in Armenia, conducted a cleanup around the monument commemorating the Battle of Oshakan in 1827. This is stated in the message of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Armenia.
"The care of memory is the basis of our future. Without respect for history and ancestors, it is impossible to form a healthy society. Monuments like this remind us of significant events and people who stood in defense of our land," said Diana Badalyan, project coordinator and youth project coordinator at the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Armenia.
According to Badalyan, these events demonstrate the importance of teamwork and a mindful attitude towards shared history. "I would like to thank all the participants for their enthusiasm and hard work," she added.
Maintaining cleanliness and order around monuments is not only a duty to ancestors, but also a contribution to preserving these important milestones. It is through these monuments that future generations will remember the key events of our history.
