ArmInfo. At the initiative of the RA Ministry of Justice, discussions were held on the presentation of the results of the second stage of the development of the electronic program for administrative proceedings.
Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice Sirvard Gevorgyan noted that at this stage, the active participation of all interested bodies in testing and improving the presented electronic system is important. According to her, the authors of the initiative are ready
to listen to and implement all constructive proposals.
Adviser to the Minister Liana Tovmasyan thanked the judges of administrative specialization for their ongoing support, starting from the stage of developing the technical specifications of the project. She said that the project is being developed by the Harmony Foundation and is planned to be launched in the first quarter of 2025.
During the meeting, the Harmony Foundation team presented a preliminary version of the project to the participants. It is planned that the system will be used by judges, other representatives of the judicial system, all government agencies, lawyers, and citizens. The introduction of the system will reduce the time for document flow and consideration of administrative cases, and will create more flexible mechanisms for the proper provision of citizens' rights to a fair trial.
During the discussion, it was noted that the next stage is planned to be a pilot launch of the system. The meeting was attended by judges of the Administrative Court, the Administrative Court of Appeal, representatives of the Judicial Department, the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, the Armenian Agency of Information Systems Foundation, and Ekeng CJSC.
