ArmInfo. In the first half of 2024, the Investigative Committee of Armenia considered 1,535 cases of domestic violence, compared to 1,051 criminal cases in the same period of 2023.

According to the press service of the Investigative Committee, 197 of them ended in indictments, the conclusions regarding 199 persons were sent to court, 345 proceedings were terminated.

In particular, out of 195 cases sent to court, 1 was considered for murder, 2 - attempted murder, 23 - causing bodily harm, 5 - crimes related to encroachment on sexual inviolability, 2 - kidnapping, 1 - illegal deprivation of liberty, 140 - physical violence, etc.
