ArmInfo.On August 9, Vahagn  Afian, the Armenian Ambassador to India, met with Kumar Tuhin, the  Director General of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).  This information was reported by the Embassy's press service.   According to the source, the meeting addressed the exhibition of  works by Armenian artist Sarkis Khachaturian, showcasing the frescoes  of the Ajanta caves.

Armenia presented these works during the 46th  session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee which was held in New  Delhi.  During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed various  issues and initiatives related to the upcoming organization of joint  educational and cultural events.  Additionally, the topic of the  Armenian historical and cultural heritage of Nagorno-Karabakh, which  is currently under threat, was brought up.
