ArmInfo. A beer festival will  be held in Yerevan from August 23 to 25. This was announced by Diana  Karapetyan, Head of Marketing and Promotion Department of the RA  Tourism Committee, at a press conference on August 9.  

According to her, the festival will be held on Zakyan Street from  16:00 to 23:00. Holding such an event is a great incentive for the  growth of tourism, particularly gastronomic tourism. She also added  that the Tourism Committee attaches great importance to organizing  such events,  that offer an opportunity to discover Armenia and its  producers. 

The head of the department assured that there are interesting events  planned for the festival. In turn, Lilit Tsarukyan, the event  organizer and project manager of the EventTour company, reported that  this year the festival will last for three days, compared to two days  last year. In 2023, this event was attended by approximately 30,000  people, with 30% of them being tourists. This year, 12 Armenian  brewers and importers will present their products at the festival.
