ArmInfo. A delegation led by Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, head of the Armenia-Georgia parliamentary friendship group Ruben Rubinyan is on a working visit to Georgia. This was reported by the press service of the Armenian parliament.
According to the report, on the first day of the visit, the delegation met with the First Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, head of the Georgia-Armenia parliamentary friendship group Georgi Volsky and members of this group in Akhaltsikhe. During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of continuously strengthening the Armenia-Georgia strategic partnership, discussed issues related to inter- parliamentary cooperation, regional security, political, economic and cultural spheres.
A meeting was also held with the state representative of Georgia in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region Besik Amiranashvili, the heads of the communities of Aspindza, Akhalkalaki, Ninotsminda, as well as representatives of the Armenian community of the region. It should be noted that the delegation included members of the Armenia-Georgia parliamentary friendship group Vahagn Aleksanyan, Artsvik Minasyan and Shirak Torosyan.
