ArmInfo. During his working visit to New York, Armenian FM Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting with Ms?Tatiana Molcean, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).
The parties discussed issues related to the implementation of programs of UN structures, including the UN Economic Commission for Europe in Armenia, and touched upon the progress in the effective implementation of sustainable development goals, the third national report of the Republic of Armenia, presented a few days earlier by the minister. The interlocutors exchanged views on the possibilities of cooperation with the Economic Commission for Europe to achieve the goals of the 2030 Agenda, including in the development of transport infrastructure, renewable energy, and road safety.
The two also discussed the priorities of cooperation on multilateral platforms, including within the group of landlocked countries.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Foreign Affairs presented the security situation in the South Caucasus to Ms Molcean.
