Heritage Party calls for Pashinyan`s resignation

ArmInfo. Every step, every word of the current authorities inside or outside our country belittles  statehood, contradicts the collective existential interests of the Armenian people and the constitutional rights of Armenian citizens. This is stated in the statement of the Heritage Party.

"We condemn each and every one, from criminal apostasy and patriotism  to mass military killings and the use of horrific means of violence  against their own people. But condemnation is not enough, it is  necessary to achieve his (Pashinyan's)  resignation and his  accomplices at any cost. The blood of Armenians, shed on the orders  of Armenians, now calls for Armenia, for response and salvation," the  party said in a statement.  On June 12, the police used  disproportionate, unprovoked force against peaceful protesters near  the government. Flashbang grenades and other special means were used.  According to official data, more than 100 people were injured.

According to available information, as a result of the use of special  means, about 10 media representatives were injured, editorial  equipment was damaged. Footage was circulated in the media indicating  a deliberate strike of flashbang grenades in the direction of  journalists and cameramen working at the scene of the protests.  Moreover, there are many footages on the World Wide Web of several  dozen police officers brutally beating a demonstrator who was trying  to protect his head and face with his hands. The Chief of Police of  Armenia justified these actions of the police, assuring that the  protesters did not obey the lawful demands of law enforcement  officers. However, video footage of the incidents shows the  opposite.
