ArmInfo. The OSCE Minsk Group de facto does not exist. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated, answering questions from parliamentarians during the government hour on June 12. He noted that the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs have not communicated with each other since February 2022 (since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, ed. note).
The Prime Minister emphasized that one of the key provisions of the negotiation process within the Minsk format since 2016 was the liquidation of the existing system of Nagorno-Karabakh.
At the same time, he accused representatives of the former government of the fact that the latter, in the period from 1998 to 2018, deceived the people of Artsakh, saying that the final status of Artsakh is possible outside of Azerbaijan. At the same time, he accused the representatives of the former government of having deceived the people of Artsakh in 1998-2018, saying that the final status of Artsakh not as part of Azerbaijan is possible.
The head of government considers his main mistake the fact that he knew the truth and did not voice it at the time. "The only reason for your main failures is that you do not give up the policy of deceiving people", Pashinyan said, addressing the opposition. He also accused the representatives of the former government of using the people of Artsakh today as a way to retain power, as well as ensure the number of participants of the rally taking place in the country today.
