ArmInfo. The results of the European Parliament elections in the 'climate-determining' countries of the EU (France and Germany), show that the representatives of the 'global war party' are losing, and the time of national conservative and democratic forces is approaching. Leader of "Mother Armenia" party Andranik Tevanyan wrote on his Facebook page.
According to him, the results of the European elections also show that the population of Europe rejects the anti-national, globalist system of values. "The population of the EU countries rejects the war unleashed by the West against Russia and Iran and its bloody policy, as a result of which not only the petty executors of the West's wishes in Ukraine suffer, but also ordinary citizens of the EU. The success of Le Pen's party in France has become a very good message to the national and healthy forces of the world that they must fight and reject the coercion coming from the overseas center, to defend their own identity and independent statehood. The adopted policy and professed values of "Mother Armenia" fully fit into this international , Tevanyan noted.
He recalled that the behavior of the Georgian authorities corresponds to the behavior of EU citizens who rejected the 'global war party'. The United States is trying to make Georgia a pawn in its game, but the Tbilisi do not accept this coercion and are fighting for the sovereignty of the state.
"Unlike Georgia, the Armenian authorities under the leadership of Nikol Pashinyan (Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia - ed. note) are on the path of 'Ukrainization' of Armenia, putting our country on the altar in the Russia-West conflict. This policy is rejected by the overwhelming majority of citizens of the Republic of Armenia. The domestic political crisis in Armenia is a clear confirmation of this. This means that Nikol's government will be thrown out of the political arena in the same way as the global war party is thrown out of the EU. As they say, "Hello Nikol", the politician said.
The elections to the European Parliament ended on June 9. The Conservatives, represented by the European People's Party (EPP) and to which the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen belongs, finished first - according to preliminary results, they will receive 185 out of 720 mandates. As analysts expected, the right-wing and far-right wings, significantly improved their position: they came first in France, Austria and Italy, and they overtook the parties from the ruling coalition in Germany. As a result, the two most right-wing European factions - the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) and Identity and Democracy (ID) - will receive a total of 131 seats. If they had formed a coalition, they would become quantitatively the third force in the European Parliament: the second largest with 137 seats was the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats (S&D). According to preliminary results, it lost two seats, since the Social Democratic Party of Germany, to which German Chancellor Olaf Scholz belongs, showed the worst result in its history in the European elections this year (around 14%).
