ArmInfo.Armenian clothing and accessory designers will take part in the international fashion exhibition in Milan, Italy - White Milano (https://www.whiteshow.com/en/). This was reported by the press service of the Fashion and Design Chamber of Armenia (FDC).
Participation in the exhibition will provide an opportunity for Armenian designers to establish international cooperation and enter new markets.
This year's exhibition will take place from September 19 to 22. In total, Armenia will be represented by 10 designers, of which 8 are clothing and 2 are accessories. The FDC will provide support in organizational work.
Designers from Armenia will take part in the exhibition as part of the cooperation of the FDC with White Milano, co-financed by GIZ (German Society for International Cooperation) within the framework of the program "Development of the private sector and vocational education and training in the South Caucasus".
The Fashion and Design Chamber was created in 2017. The founders of the Chamber were the Armenian designer Vahagn Khachaturyan and the co-founder of the 5?oncept space (a concept store that presents the works of over 80 Armenian designers) Elen Manukyan. Today FDC covers a network of 250 designers (clothing, shoes, accessories). The activities of the Chamber are aimed at increasing the recognition of Armenian designers through participation in international exhibitions. FDC also organizes specialized seminars and lectures for them with the involvement of international experts in the field, etc.
