YSU among world`s best universities 

ArmInfo. Yerevan State University (YSU) was included in the list of the best higher education institutions in the world (QS World University Rankin), compiled by the British company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), taking  901-950 lines.

EHU also took 415th place in the QS Europe university rankings. This  year's QS World University Rankings are the largest ever, with over  1,500 universities from over 100 countries represented.

The United States is the most represented country or territory with  197 rating institutions, followed by the United Kingdom with 90 and  mainland China with 71.

QS has been publishing the ranking of the world's best universities  since 2004, assessing educational institutions based on six criteria.  These are academic reputation (40% of the total score),  faculty-to-student ratio (20%), citation index (20%), reputation  among employers (10%), shares of foreign students (5%) and foreign  teachers (5%).
