ArmInfo. The Prosperous Armenia party denied rumors that its leader Gagik Tsarukyan rejected Bagrat Galstanyan's offer to join the Tavush for the Motherland movement.
Earlier, information appeared in one of the TG channels that a meeting allegedly took place between Bagrat Galstanyan and Tsarukyan, and the latter refused the request of the leader of the movement to join them.
"I must officially record that with the exception of the first part of this , everything else is fiction and does not correspond to reality.
Gagik Tsarukyan really received Bagrat Srbazan at home, in a family atmosphere, at the dinner table. And as you know, according to the rules of Armenian hospitality, during hospitality in the family hearth it is not customary to discuss work issues, much less political issues," PAP press secretary Ivetta Tonoyan wrote on the social network.
"Opening the parentheses a little>, Tonoyan said that days earlier Bagrat Galstanyan turned to the leader of the PAP with a request to help the settlements affected by the natural disaster in northern Armenia.
"Gagik Tsarukyan responded positively, emphasizing that he would immediately instruct the employees of the charitable foundation to organize the process of providing support to the regions affected by the disaster," she noted.
Tonoyan also noted that "purely chronologically," this "information" was spread during dinner. "This is another small but important detail that this information, to put it mildly, is not complete," summarized the PAP press secretary.
