`Red berets` beat opposition MP in central Yerevan 

ArmInfo.In the center of Yerevan, the "red berets" brutally beat Ashot Simonyan, a deputy from the  Hayastan bloc, and brought him to prison, despite numerous cries that the latter was a deputy.

The incident occurred on Hanrapetutyan Street, next to the office of  the ARF Dashnaktsutyun party, where the "berets" tried to break into.  The parliamentarian was thrown to the floor and several dozen "red  berets" began kicking him.

The protests in Armenia began after it became known about the  agreement reached on April 19 between Yerevan and Baku to begin  delimiting the border with Tavush. On May 9, Archbishop Bagrat  Galstanyan, who led the procession from Tavush to Yerevan, called on  the prime minister to resign. The day before, Galstanyan was  announced as a candidate for prime minister of the Republic of  Armenia. In the evening, he announced peaceful actions of  disobedience from 8:00 on May 27, which should force the authorities  to reckon with the will of the people.

Today, as of 10.10 am in Yerevan, the police brought in 196  participants in the action of disobedience <for failure to comply  with the legal demands of a police officer or a police officer>
