ArmInfo.Today's natural disaster in Lori, where the Debed River overflowed its banks and destroyed everything in its path, is a new test for the Armenian people in the current historical period of national awakening. Former Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia David Ananyan wrote on his Facebook account.
According to him, it is extremely important to unite to eliminate the consequences of this disaster, but at the same time it is necessary to clearly understand that there is time and the need to fight both a natural disaster and an anti-people government, but not one at the expense of the other. <No matter how difficult it may be to observe the devastating consequences of a natural disaster and the tragedy of the people affected by it, one thing is clear: both natural and man-made disasters and losses will continue as long as the state is in its current deplorable state. It is necessary to cleanse the country of evil that brings tragedy and difficulties, restore the situation and confidently move forward. There is no other way," Ananyan noted.
He called on citizens, regardless of the circumstances, to take active civic participation in today's rally, which will take place on Republic Square, the purpose of which is exceptional, because the path to saving the state will be outlined. <At this rally, Archbishop Bagrat will make important statements, present a road map of the people's struggle, as well as a plan of action that will ultimately lead us to the goal we all desire - laying the foundation for a new government that will restore justice and ensure the protection of national interests. Your presence and spirit will be of great importance today," noted the former head of the State Revenue Committee.
