ArmInfo. Deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia from the ruling "Civil Contract" faction Khachatur Sukiasyan uses the platform to threaten the people and the "Tavush for the Motherland" movement, reads a statement of the movement posted on the Telegram channel.
As noted in the statement, the deputy is threatening those people whose thousands of children died at the border as a result of incompetent leadership on the part of the same authorities. He also threatens residents of Artsakh, saying that if they continue to participate in demonstrations, they will be deprived of benefits and the opportunity to get an apartment in the future. At the same time, he hints at expropriation of property and murder. "This is a simple picture of what we want and what they want. Behavior that has been hidden until now is now revealed in all its glory," the statement emphasizes.
It compares threats against the movement and its leader, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, with publications in the Turkish press. "It's not only Sukiasyan who threatens us. We have received similar threats before. Open the Turkish press and see what the electronic publication , owned by Erdogan's cousin Zengiz Erik, writes. The article says that it is the Armenians who will kill Bagrat Srbazan and blame for this on the secret services of Turkey or Azerbaijan. And now, when we compare what Sukikasyan said and what Erdogan's family newspaper wrote, the picture becomes more than clear. The enemies of our people understand well what we are talking about. that the Armenian people will straighten their backs and truth will defeat lies. They know very well that this chain of endless humiliation of Armenia and the Armenian people will soon be broken. That is why they are threatening," the statement says.
A day earlier in parliament, a deputy from the ruling faction, Khachatur Sukiasyan, "walked through" the movement, saying, among other things, that "the leaders of the movement, opposition figures and others could die or go to prison."
