ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Acting President of of Iran, Mohammad Mokhber inTehran, reports the press service of the RA Cabinet of Ministers.
The Prime Minister expressed deep condolences to the acting President of Iran, vice presidents, members of the government and the people of Iran.
Pashinyan emphasized that the death of President Ebrahim Raeisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir- Abdollahian, who died in a helicopter crash, is a tragedy, and Armenia and the Armenian people mourn and share the pain of all the people of friendly Iran.
Nikol Pashinyan emphasized that he and President Ebrahim Raeisi were connected not only by partnership, but also by warm friendly ties, which in itself had a positive effect on Armenian-Iranian relations. The Prime Minister expressed hope that the plans outlined with President Ebrahim Raeisi, as well as the positive trend in relations between the two countries, will continue.
The Acting President of Iran noted that the presence of the Prime Minister of Armenia gives strength in these difficult days.
According to him, "the disaster shocked the entire people of Iran, and he deeply appreciates that friendly Armenia today shares their grief."
Mohammad Mokhber assured that all the programs outlined by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia with Ebrahim Raeisi, aimed at developing Armenian-Iranian relations, will be long term ones.
