ArmInfo. The agenda of the "Civil Contract" does not include the meeting with Bagrat Srbazan. MP from the ruling "Civil Contract" faction Rustam Bakoyan stated during a conversation with journalists.
He noted that if Srbazan wants to meet with one of the representatives of the ruling party, he can pre- register on the days and times of reception of citizens. "We have no other agenda for the meeting," the parliamentarian emphasized, noting that the ruling party does not see the need for it.
When asked if he is sure that there is no political consolidation around the issue of the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Rustam Bakoyan emphasized that the government of Armenia was elected by the people through elections that were held transparently, without fraud. "The authorities represent the people, and, therefore, they consider it unacceptable to talk about any generation," the MP said.
Bakoyan was reminded that his party members Babken Tuknyan and Gurgen Arsenyan were not so clear in their answers regarding the meeting with Bagrat Srbazan, but the MP assured that he can answer on behalf of all MPs from the "Civil Contract".
At the same time, he urged not to worry, emphasizing that any discussions about expressing no confidence in the Prime Minister are also not included in the agenda of the "Civil Contract" and cannot be. Earlier, MP from the "Civil Contract" Babken Tunyan said in a conversation with journalists that if Bagrat Srbazan offers him an official meeting and submits a notice, he will consider that offer. But at the same time he added that he did not see any need for such a thing.
Another MP from the "Civil Contract", Gurgen Arsenyan, noted that if Bagrat Srbazan publishes a list of whom he wants to meet, and his name is on this list, then he will think about whether there is a need for such a meeting or not.
Days earlier Bagrat Srbazan announced that he intended to meet with all representatives of the political forces of Armenia, both parliamentary and extra-parliamentary ones.
