ArmInfo. Today's imperative is the elimination of the current government of Armenia. The Primate of the Tavush diocese, the head of the "Tavush for the Motherland" movement, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, stated today in his video message.
"Last night, in the shadow of darkness, another meeting of the notorious border delimitation commission took place. Based on its results, we state that this government has not deviated from its criminal path. This is evidenced by the description of the memorandum, press releases, and the so-called explanations given by the head the government apparatus. This happens at the expense of us, our people, our lives, our citizens, and our existence in general," the priest noted.
He drew attention to the fact that the current authorities were not influenced in any way by the broad legal and legislative justifications given by many specialists, as well as the recorded facts, moral principles, and at the same time the widespread disagreement of citizens.
"We once again state that they act contrary to the Constitution, laws, identity, and all criteria of morality and logic. In this regard, the imperative has become the elimination of causes, not consequences. And there is only one reason - and it is in Yerevan. And the imperative and urgency is that , in order to eliminate this government with all its lawlessness a minute earlier, and then start a new life. This is a whole chain of bleeding that needs to be stopped," Bagrat Srbazan noted, promising to later provide detailed information on further actions.
He called for patience and once again emphasized that this is a struggle between truth and lie. "Already, many residents of Kirants, left without a home and security guarantees, have taken to the streets. We express our solidarity to them and strongly confirm that results and answers will not keep themselves waiting. We must get these answers, we have no other way," he noted. "Either now or never. We have no alternative. We must liberate our country. We must free ourselves from enemy oppression, from shame and humiliation, thus preventing other disasters that stand in our way," the head of the movement concluded.
As ArmInfo previously reported, residents of the border village of Kirants in the Tavush region of Armenia again blocked the interstate road leading to Georgia, thereby expressing their protest against the decisions of the commission on delimitation and demarcation of borders with Azerbaijan.
According to the commission's decision, Azerbaijan will have to receive two houses, a bridge, a section of road towards Georgia and about 50 land plots. The head of the regional police department, Artur Mkrtchyan, arrived at the meeting with the participants of the action protesting against this decision, who invited the villagers to hold a meeting with the regional governor Hayk Ghalumyan, but in a closed room and without representatives of the press. However, this initiative was not accepted by the village residents, who demanded to meet with the head of the regional administration on the road and in the presence of journalists.
