Armenian Police intention to extend cordon around opera house caused  Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan`s anger

The intention of the Armenian Police to extend the cordon around the opera house until 22:00 instead of the previously announced date of 20:00 caused anger of  leader of the Tavush for the Motherland movement, Primate of the Tavush diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan.

"You are liars. I know you well, I know what you did, what you are  doing, and what you are going to do.  Your lies, together with the  lies of your master, no longer know boundaries. Having such an army  of police, go and defend the borders of your homeland," the  Archbishop said , adding that the police have long ceased to serve  the people, but only serve one person. "When you return home, how do  you look into the eyes of your family and friends," the leader of the  movement emphasized.

The Police do not allow Galstanyan and his supporters to march along  the roadway towards the Surb Anna Church, where the Archbishop is  going to sum up the results of the day and present plans for  tomorrow.  Meanwhile, the priest himself believes that people cannot  move on the sidewalk. "The police leadership enjoys this situation,  but we and the rank and file of the law enforcement system feel  discomfort," the archbishop said.
