ArmInfo. More than half of the respondents in Armenia positively assess the "Tavush for the Motherland" movement, initiated by Primate of the Tavush Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, according to the results of the "Leadership" survey of MPG consulting company.
When asked to asses the movement, 35.1% of respondents considered it entirely positive, another 17.8% - rather positive (overall 52.9%), another 10% rather negative, 23.5% - negative (overall 33.5%), another 13.6% - found it difficult to answer.
When asked to clarify through which platforms they observe protests, 67.6% of respondents said that through social networks: Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, Tik-Tok, etc., 39.3% - TV, 4.8% - e-Media, 1.6% - radio , 1.6% - other platforms. Another 19.7% noted that they do not follow the protests.
When asked to clarify how they participated/are participating in protests, 15.3% noted that they follow updates via Facebook, 9.4% - participate in rallies in Yerevan, 5.3% - participate in rallies in their cities, 2.3% noted that they block/ are blocking roads. 72% said they do not participate in protests.
When asked to asses the behavior of the demonstrators, 52.1% considered their behavior generally normal, 37.4% - generally negative, and another 10.5% found it difficult to answer. At the same time, 35.8% of respondents assessed the police actions towards the demonstrators positively, 46.5% - generally negatively, another 17.7% - found it difficult to answer.
At the same time, 38% of respondents consider it right to block roads during protests, 55.7% think it is wrong, and another 6.3% found it difficult to answer.
The survey was conducted through telephone calls to residents of the Republic of Armenia during the period from May 13 to 14 of this year, the sample size was 1000, the sampling error was +/- 3%.
