Oppositionist: Turks seizing our lands step by step; Armenia`s  current authorities contribute to that

"During yesterday's action, we learned that Azerbaijanis were near the Voskepar church. We were forced to suspend the action in Dilijan and immediately headed to Voskepar to meet with the villagers." MP from the Armenia bloc Garnik Danielyan stated in a conversation with journalists in  Kirants on April 29.

According to him, the villagers also confirmed that there were  Azerbaijanis there, they were doing various kinds of preparatory  work, they said they were cutting down trees. "The authorities are  trying to complete the illegally started process by force and  deception. The authorities are trying in every possible way to  fulfill the task assigned to them - accommodate the Turks in these  places. One of the reasons for the villagers' concern is that the  Azerbaijani border guard troops are such only in name, in reality,  they are the Azerbaijani army with the same military equipment, only  in different clothes, with the same technical equipment. Meanwhile,  our border guard, who will come to stand here, is armed only with a  machine gun, he has nothing else. That is, the forces here will be  unequal,"  Danielyan drew attention.

At the same time, he added that these so-called Azerbaijani  servicemen would be able to attack and capture any Armenian village  or city from dominant positions at any time.

Danielyan is confident that the implementation of the program to  deprive Armenia of its own army has now begun. "Remember, Azerbaijan  said that Armenia should not have an army. This is the beginning of  the implementation of this program, they want to turn the Armenian  army into border troops. They are trying to do it very smoothly.  Ararat Mirzoyan says that this will be the most secure border, but  probably he forgot to say that the most secure border will be for  Azerbaijan, and not for Armenia," the MP added.  He again considered  this one-sided process very dangerous, adding that the Armenian  authorities have still not given an explanation to the people of  Kirants either about the fate of their houses or the fate of the  pastures; there are no answers.

Danielyan also said that a large number of police forces have been  deployed to Berkaber these days to hide from people what they are  doing there.

At the same time, Danielyan noted that this cannot be considered  demarcation and delimitation. "The Turks are seizing our lands step  by step, and the current authorities in Armenia contribute to that,"  the MP noted, adding that tomorrow these Azerbaijanis, who are today  behind the church in Voskepar, will be able to sabotage, steal,  nothing will prevent them from that.
