ArmInfo.From April 26 to May 10 Two Arcs Art Space is pleased to be hosting Interactive portait exhibition by sculptor Mkrtich Mazmanian, dedicated to Charles Aznavour.
The exhibition is based on the idea of paying tribute to Charles Aznavour and appreciating his huge musical and spiritual legacy to people. The author tried to translate his art into sculptural language in his own way, with his own perspective and interpretation.
The sculptor said that he had not thought about creating such a collection in advance.
The exhibition also included a presentation of an illustrated book dedicated to the creative path of the sculptor. The event was attended by government members, artists and admirers of the works of Mazmanyan and Aznavour. The exhibition will be open until May 10 in the Two Arcs gallery, which is located at st. Sayat-Nova, 5.
Mkrtich Mazmanyan is a famous Armenian sculptor who lived in Beirut (Lebanon) for many years. Mazmanyan graduated from the Art College named after. Merkurov in Gyumri and Terlemezyan Art School in Yerevan. He later continued his education at the National Higher Art Institute in Tallinn (Estonia), and received a master's degree in art/sculpture. Mazmanyan created a number of monuments in Estonia, Latvia, Moldova, Armenia, Lebanon, and held exhibitions in the Middle East, USA, Europe and Asia.
