U.S. State Dept welcomes agreement by Armenia, Azerbaijan on  principles of border delimitation

ArmInfo. The United States of America welcomes the announcement that Armenia and Azerbaijan have  agreed upon the 1991 Alma Ata declaration as the basis for border delimitation between the two countries. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken wrote on his account on X (formerly Twitter).

"This is an important step towards concluding a durable and dignified  peace agreement," Antony Blinken emphasized.  Yesterday, the Armenian  Foreign Ministry, following the results of the eighth meeting of the  state delimitation commissions, announced that Armenia and Azerbaijan  agreed to begin delimitation from the Tavush region and by July 1 to  complete the approval of the draft regulations on the joint  activities of the delimitation commissions.
