ArmInfo.About 35% of refugees from Artsakh are thinking about taking the path of emigration. Artsakh Ombudsman Gegham Stepanyan announces.
According to him, a survey conducted among citizens of Artsakh shows that about 65% of respondents have no desire to emigrate from the Republic of Armenia.
"And the majority of the 35% of respondents who are considering the possibility of leaving Armenia see Russia as a potential host country.
Another important fact is that exactly half of the respondents are dissatisfied with their living conditions. And I think that this is not subjective, but objective dissatisfaction, and it is the main factor leading to the thought of emigration.
Behind these figures are people who are between the desire to live in their homeland and the dilemma of emigration," Stepanyan wrote.
In total, over 150 thousand Artsakh residents were left without a home and homeland after Azerbaijan's large-scale aggression against Artsakh.
