ArmInfo. Israeli police continue attacks on Armenian quarter in Jerusalem.
Footage of the Israeli police attack on the Cow Garden estate in the Armenian Quarter of Jerusalem has again appeared on the social network X.
The footage shows how the police invade the territory of the estate and demolish the guard structures installed by the Armenians to protect the site from encroachments by the Xana Capital company laying claim to it.
After the police left, Israeli settlers again attacked the Armenian quarter in Jerusalem. Video footage shows how members of the community, including the clergy, fight off stones flying at them.
"With two cases pending against Xana Gardens in the Jerusalem District Court, the Israeli police are trying to change the facts on the ground. This is unacceptable and illegal," the Movement to Save the Block said on X.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry does not yet consider it necessary to comment on the illegal actions of the Israeli police and settlers in relation to centuries-old Armenian property. And this is in a situation where these actions of the Israeli police were previously condemned by France, Jordan and Russia.
