ArmInfo. The leaders of Russia and Armenia will have the opportunity to discuss the issues and problems that have arisen in bilateral relations. This was stated by spokesperson of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov in response to a request from journalists to comment on today's statement of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that "Armenia has not made a single wrong step in its relations with Russia, and there are numerous cases of the opposite."
"We proceed from the fact that all the difficult issues in our bilateral relations that have emerged recently will be resolved within the framework of such a dialogue," the Kremlin spokesman said, Interfax reports. According to Peskov, there is hope that "in the foreseeable future, presidents will have the opportunity to personally discuss such issues, if they are on the agenda."
"You know that Armenia is our close partner, it is our ally, a country with which we are united by many integration formats, such as the CIS, the EAEU and others. And, of course, historically bilateral relations, humanitarian relations, the importance of which is undeniable ", the Kremlin representative noted.
"In addition, of course, there is a dialogue at the working level, which is also very important," he added.
On April 10, in the National Assembly, during a discussion of the implementation of the government program, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that the Armenian authorities did not make any mistakes in relations with Russia. "And there is not a single case where the partners can accuse Armenia of not fulfilling its obligations. But, unfortunately, there are many opposite cases. But I also want to emphasize that we do not want to argue with Russia. And not for the reason that we do not have such opportunity and strength, but because we appreciate the colossal positive that was and is in our relations," Pashinyan said.
