ArmInfo. Armenia is not the aggressor and has no plan to attack Azerbaijan. Member of the French National Assembly, head of the France-Armenia parliamentary friendship group of the National Assembly of France Anne-Laurence Petel wrote in her account on Twitter (X), reacting to Azerbaijani disinformation that the Armenian Armed Forces allegedly are accumulating forces at the border.
Sharing a post by EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, Toivo Klaar, on this matter, she wrote in particular: "Based on European Union Mission in Armenia monitoring, Toivo Klaar has clearly stated that no unusual military movements have been observed along the Armenian- Azerbaijani border. High Representative Josep Borrell, it's urgent that you speak with a strong EU voice to confirm your special representative's statement: Armenia is not the aggressor and has no plan to attack Azerbaijan."
As ArmInfo previously wrote, the Azerbaijani side began an active campaign to spread disinformation about the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. Since March 30, the enemy has been disseminating various types of information about the alleged accumulation of forces by the Armenian side on the border with Azerbaijan. And at night, the enemy side accused Armenia of violating the ceasefire, and fired at the positions of the Armenian army in two areas.
