ArmInfo. The Artsakh information Center has called on Armenian mass media to refrain from unfounded accusations against the Artsakh authorities.
The statement notes that some media outlets are once again attacking the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh, in some cases trying to tarnish the reputation of President Samvel Shahramanyan, and instead of covering the pressing problems of the forcibly displaced Artsakh Armenians, they are engaged in gossip. "We call on these media to refrain from publishing unverified information, not to try to distort reality with false intrigues and mislead the public.
We consider it necessary to recall that in November 2023, President Samvel Shahramanyan addressed the competent law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Armenia with a request to accept publications about obvious crimes and possible abuses of officials distributed by individual users on social networks and to investigate them in accordance with the law.
Once again we urge you to contact the law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Armenia if you receive information about possible abuses by officials of the Republic of Artsakh," the Artsakh Information Headquarters said in a statement.
Earlier, the media circulated information that Shahramanyan's mother purchased an apartment in Yerevan worth AMD 25mln ($62,000).
