ArmInfo. The Indian Aerospace Defense News (IADN) has posted the following message on its X account:
"India establishes Air Corridor to Armenia to handle exports of strategic importance
"HAL and CONCOR have established HALCON, a Joint Working Group for the purpose of the same. This will strengthen logistics between India and Armenia."
Previously, Armenia signed a contract worth more than $250 million to purchase weapons from India, including Indian 214 mm Pinaka multiple launch rocket systems and rockets for them, unspecified anti-tank missile systems and various ammunition. The contract includes the first-ever export sale of nationally developed Pinaka multiple launch rocket systems, which are already in service with the Indian Army, the publication's sources note. Later it became known about the conclusion of other defense contracts.
In addition, it became known about India's desire to expand its presence abroad for strategic purposes and to appoint military attaches in Armenia.
