ArmInfo. More than half of respondents in Armenia believe that the severance of Armenian-Russian relations is not in the interests of the Republic of Armenia and the Armenian people. This is evidenced by the results of the "French Kiss" survey of the MPG consulting company.
So, when asked to clarify whether the severance of Armenian-Russian relations is in the interests of Armenia and the Armenian people, taking into account the statement of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan about freezing the country's membership in the CSTO, which will lead the severance of the entire complex of Russian-Armenian relations, 42% of respondents said it is absolutely not in our interests, 16.1% - rather, it is not in our interests, 23.2% - expressed the belief that it definitely is in our interests, another 13.9% - rather it is in our interests. 4.8% of respondents found it difficult to answer.
When asked whether Armenia should remain in the CSTO or join NATO, 40.2% of respondents said that the country should maintain neutrality and not be in any military bloc, 28% believed that it should remain in the CSTO, 22.5% were in favor of to strive for NATO membership, another 9.2% found it difficult to answer.
When asked whether the price would be acceptable if the EU, as a condition for starting visa liberalization, demands withdrawal from the CSTO and the EAEU, 23.5% considered such a price to be definitely acceptable, 19% - rather acceptable, 15% - rather unacceptable, 32.9% - definitely unacceptable. The survey was conducted through telephone calls to residents of the Republic of Armenia in the period from February 26 to February 28 of this year, the sample size was 1100, the sampling error was +/- 3%.
