ArmInfo. More than a third of respondents in Armenia believe that the difficult situation the country is facing today is the result of the incompetent policy of the Armenian authorities. This is evidenced by the results of the "French Kiss" survey of the MPG consulting company.
To clarify what caused the difficult political situation that Armenia is facing today, 35.3% of respondents answered, the incompetence of the leadership of the RA government. 29.9% of respondents are convinced that this is a deliberately created situation dictated by external forces, another 24.2% believe that this is the consequences of conflicts existing in the world. 8.9% found it difficult to answer, another 1.7% gave a different answer.
When asked whether the authorities are making enough efforts to free prisoners held in Baku, 13.5% of respondents considered the efforts sufficient, 12.5% rather sufficient, 15% considered the efforts rather insufficient and 44.4% considered the efforts definitely insufficient. At the same time, 14.4% found it difficult to answer.
When asked whether there is a risk of a new war in the foreseeable future, 55.1% of the respondents answered that there is definitely. Another 25.5% considered a new war more likely, 9.8% - rather not, 7.2 % - definitely no threats of a new war, another 2.4% found it difficult to answer. Thus, 80.6% of respondents consider there is a risks of a new war in the region.
The survey was conducted through telephone calls to residents of the Republic of Armenia in the period from February 26 to February 28 of this year, the sample size was 1100, the sampling error was +/- 3%. In 2011, MPG became the official representative in Armenia of the International Gallup Association, one of the most prestigious and independent public opinion research organizations in the world.
