ArmInfo.On March 4th, a delegation led by the Minister of National Defence of the Hellenic Republic, Nikolaos Dendias, will arrive in the Republic of Armenia for an official visit, the Ministry of Defense reports.
According to the press service of the Armenian Embassy in Greece, during the visit of the Greek minister to Yerevan, further strengthening of defense cooperation between Greece and Armenia, as well as processes around regional security and defense in general, will be discussed.
During his visit to Yerevan, Dendias will hold meetings with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and lay a wreath at the Memorial to the Victims of the Armenian Genocide.
In December 2023, Armenia and Greece signed an agreement on military-technical cooperation. The document, which was signed in Athens by the Ministers of Defense of the two countries, Suren Papikyan and Nikos Dendias, includes military-technical areas, exchange of experience, educational, training, tactical training and other areas.
